In myCOI, each status indicates the current state of your compliance documentation and what, if any, action is required from you. Here’s an overview of each status and what it means for you as a vendor:
1. Unregistered
- What It Means: You haven’t completed the registration process or provided necessary contact information.
- Action Needed: Complete your registration to allow certificate uploads and review. Without this, we can’t proceed with compliance checks.
2. Undecided In-Progress
- What It Means: Your registration is complete, and we’ve sent a request to your agent for the certificate of insurance. Alternatively, it could mean a certificate has been uploaded and is in line for review.
- Action Needed: No action is required from you at this stage. We’re working with your agent to obtain or review the necessary documentation.
3. Non-Compliant In-Progress
- What It Means: We’ve reviewed your certificate and found items that don’t meet compliance standards. Notifications have been sent to both you and your agent to address these items.
- Action Needed: Review the non-compliance notice and resolve the issues. If there is no response from you or your agent within 21 days, this status will automatically change to “Non-Compliant Finalized.”
4. Compliant In-Progress
- What It Means: Your last certificate was compliant, but a new certificate or document has been uploaded and is currently under review.
- Action Needed: No action is required from you. This status is common around renewal periods when updated documents are submitted.
5. Compliant Finalized
- What It Means: Your certificates and endorsements on file meet all compliance requirements.
- Action Needed: No action is needed. This status will remain until a renewal or an updated document is requested, usually 30 days before expiration.
6. Non-Compliant Finalized
- What It Means: The documents on file don’t meet compliance standards, and all attempts to obtain a compliant certificate have been completed.
- Action Needed: You’ll need to provide updated documentation when a renewal is requested (typically 30 days before expiration) or take further action if specified.
