myCOI Central now gives you a single global registration link you can use across all of your vendor communications. Rather than waiting on automated emails to reach your vendors, you can put the link directly in their hands. Add it to your email signature, include it in an onboarding packet, drop it in a welcome message, or use it however works best for your team. Your vendors have one consistent path to register or access their insurance portal. No individual links needed and no setup required.
Copying the Link
The Copy Sharable Registration Link button is located at the top of your Vendor Management tab. Clicking it copies the link to your clipboard so you can paste it wherever you communicate with your vendors.
How Vendors Use the Link
When a vendor clicks the link they will be prompted to enter the email address associated with their vendor account.
From there, one of the following will happen:
- One match found: The vendor sees their company name and selects it to continue. Unregistered vendors are directed to complete registration. Vendors who have already registered are able to login to their insurance portal.
- Multiple matches found: The vendor sees a list of company names associated with their email address and selects the correct one to continue. Unregistered vendors are directed to complete registration. Vendors who have already registered are able to login to their insurance portal.
- No match found: The vendor sees a message directing them to contact the company that shared the link for assistance. Your team can then confirm their record status or submit an update on their behalf.
The Vendor Specific Link
The vendor specific Copy URL button is still available and works differently. Rather than asking the vendor to enter their email address, it takes them to their registration or insurance portal without the lookup step. You can find the Copy URL button on each vendor row in the Vendor Management tab and on the Assignment Information page.
